Teaching and Learning

Procedural Fluency

With a couple of clicks and a few seconds, teachers can assign timed basic skills fluency practice to individual students, intervention groups or the entire class and receive real time results. The K-12 pre-builts are designed to elicit the basic skills foundational for each grade level. As an example, if your student is struggling with her multiplication facts or needs practice regrouping simply assign the appropriate pre-built. Grades 6th-8th have additional tiles that encourage practice with statistics, integers, exponents, fractions, and more.

Custom Settings

The “Advanced” drawer allows for the customization of procedural fluency assignments. As a teacher authoring tool, NextGenMath.com offers educators full control over assignment settings.

Monitor Progress

Monitor your students’ progress with a specific basic skill and get immediate real-time results to decide whether students need a retake or if they are ready for more fluency practice.
